The interview process comprised three rounds: two technical interviews followed by one HR interview.
The first round was conducted by a friendly and understanding senior staff member who asked relevant questions and effectively assessed my capabilities. I felt confident as I progressed to the second round.
However, the second round did not meet my expectations. It was led by a senior individual who exhibited unprofessional behavior. Throughout the interview, they displayed frustration and even directed it towards office staff for unrelated matters, such as having a headache since morning due to not getting tea. Furthermore, the questions should have been more aligned with the profile. For instance, in a React+Node interview, it would have been more appropriate to focus on topics like React, JavaScript, problem-solving, NodeJs, ExpressJs, MongoDB, and TypeScript. Instead, being asked about unrelated technologies that were not mentioned in my CV and have no in-depth knowledge, left me questioning whether the interviewer understood the job's requirements and the company's interviewing standards.
This made it challenging to focus and left a negative impression.
While this experience was disappointing.
Given my experience, I would recommend candidates carefully evaluate the culture and professionalism of potential employers during the interview process.
Consider exploring opportunities in environments where professionalism and respect are prioritized, such as startups or companies known for their inclusive and supportive cultures.
