I applied online. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (Wooster, OH)
Interview
A pretty straight forward interview process. Overall just getting a feel for if the candidate is a good fit for the culture and store. It helps if the individual interviewing has open availability since this can make a difference depending oon the time of year the candidate is interviewing.
Clear and straightforward questions, all pretty typical ones. Manager was polite and kind. She seemed genuinely interested in all my answers. It was a bit awkward at first, I was not sure where to go and all the registers were full, so I waited until one was waiting for the next customer to wait up to ask for the manager.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at TJ Maxx (East Haven, CT) in Sep 2024
Interview
More like a discussion than an interview. Pleasant people who seemed quite genuine and loved their business. They were very communicative during the process, keeping me well informed of where we were in the cycle.
