I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Target (Orlando, FL) in Aug 2009
Interview
Applied online on a Friday, received a call on the following Tuesday setting up an interview for the next day. Get there and have to take the second part of an online personality test, then wait to be interviewed. They have booklets of questions that they write down your answers so they can review them later. It was two interviewers done separately, one in a breakroom and one in an office. Almost all of the questions were the type of "tell me of a time" and most of them seemed pretty negative to me. I can see how this is useful, but I'm not the type of person to dwell on negatives or even have too many of them in my life so it was pretty unexpected for me. Definitely prepare more for those type of questions than I did!

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you disagreed with a coworker and how you handled it?
The interview were very straightforward and the atmosphere was relaxed. I spoke with a shift lead and then the HR manager. The questions were typical and there was some discussions.
This was a few years ago, but I just went in and spoke with the manager in their office. Very casual and quick interview. Only 1 interview was required which was nice!

Question 1
Tell us about a time when you had to interact with customers
It was very quick and I was hired on immediately. I was a college student going to TAMU Galveston at the time. The team was pretty easy going but just not there to help me grow as an individual.
