I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Albuquerque, NM) in May 2014
Interview
Behavior, Situation, Outcome questions all based on leadership qualities. Met with a recruiter on campus, phone interview with HR, in store interview with executive, interview with District Team Leader, interview with Store Team Leader. Then they gave the job offer, I asked for a higher amount of money they accepted. Employment was pending background and drug test. They no longer drug test.
I applied through other source. The process took 5 months. I interviewed at Target (Rockford, IL) in Feb 2013
Interview
Pretty basic and straight forward interview process three situational questions. Very brief get to know you sequence at start of interview with little to no follow up questions. In house candidates interview by same person that prepped them for interview process so good and bad bias are present. Didnt get job because I wasn't ready to lead according to wake person that told me I was clearly ready weeks beforehand.

I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Newark, NJ) in Oct 2015
Interview
It was a fairly simple interview with general behavioral questions. Use the questions as an opportunity to talk about your previous professional experience. In addition, the recruiters seemed to appreciate the fact that I had questions to ask after the interview. Be prepared to ask questions and to build off of them. It wasn't a tough interview, questions were simple, as long as you have the experience to relate back to each one.
