TikTok Intern interview questions

Partner recruiter of ByteDance from a different country interviewed first. They asked about my story and my past experience and followed up with some information about ByteDance's growth over the past couple years.

The process was fairly structured and moved quickly. It started with an initial screening, followed by one to two interview rounds with team members. The interviews focused on a mix of past experience, problem-solving, and how you approach ambiguous situations. There was also some emphasis on understanding business impact and working in fast-paced environments. Overall, it felt practical and role-relevant rather than overly technical.
