I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at TikTok (Dublin, Dublin) in Jan 2021
Interview
First round of the process phone screening with simple basic questions. Second round was a bit strange as the person that interviewed me in TikTok China wasn't from HR nor the Quality department itself but from another cross-functional team so when it came to my time of making questions I've asked about the work's routine and obviously the interviewer didn't know how to answer. I was left with the impression that they've picked up a random person last minute to go through the interview. Also there was a bit a struggle with communication as some questions were hard to understand due to the language barrier.
