Interview.
The hiring process to be satisfied as a developer in their Network of talents is straight forward and interesting.
I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Turing in Apr 2022
Interview
I had the weirdest experience ever with this company. They reached out to me to schedule a screening call, which I did. Then, 30 minutes before the call, they sent me an email saying the interview was cancelled because I had already had this call with them, even though this would be my first contact with them. Then, 30 minutes after the scheduled time, they reached out again saying I hadn't shown up, and that they would have to reject me if I didn't show up again. With this level of disorganization I just decided not to follow up.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
None questions asked, as I never got to talk to them. But I feel like this experience was worth sharing here anyways.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Turing (Neu-Delhi) in Mar 2022
Interview
On the first level, I was given a test that had absolutely zero relevance to the position I applied for. Next they called out of the blues with no prior intimation for a verbal round. Then I was cut short as some meeting was scheduled. Next day I had to call and take a follow up if I am being interviewed ahead.
The questions asked the second day were vague and some riddles were given.
I am sure no matter how jovial a person is, they will never think about answering any question considering it to be a riddle. So in all seriousness I made assumptions and gave my answer, explaining everything transparently.
Later, I found the questions were riddles.
And yes I am not selected, because I failed to treat the interview as a joke!!!
Yes, any person who is seriously dedicated, will never take an interview as a joke. And even though a funny response will come to their mind, but someone interviewing for a serious role of a team lead will never answer jokingly.
The experience was bitter because
1. Riddles were asked
2. No technical round was taken
3. I am sure they have hired a better candidate, but why would I believe that when no technical round or technical person interviewed me at all.
