Turing Python Developer interview questions

Way to many interview pre-assignements. I dont understand the ideea of taking almost 20 hours to solve some problems to see the exact level . So people should then just take a day of to finish some problems where they wont even encounter later in the role ?

there were 5 coding questions asked, two questions are to fing errors in the code and one based on oops ,two were easy questions (finding element in the matrix and palindrome).
