The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Turing (São Paulo, )
Interview
Initially the process would be some tests done in a 100% automated way. I passed all of them, including the main one which was the coding challenge, and to my surprise without any justification two months later they told me that I was not able because they had "manually reviewed" my test and I had not passed, yes, 2 months later. Besides that they told me that I would need to wait another 3 months to try again, but I did it in an event promoted by them, Jump Start, where even if I failed I could redo the test in 48 hours. Turing lacks transparency and clear rules, the rules change all the time according to their wishes.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Turing (Los Angeles, CA) in Jul 2022
Interview
Everything was too late. I have finished my vetting process 4 months ago and no match yet. I had one interview task with a company that went great but they did not update or even provide a proper followup for months.
It was highly unorganized and disjointed. Follow up correspondence were not attended to and the whole experience was not uplifting. A recruiter asked me to contact her before I took a challenge, I did repeatedly and she never responded again. Out of the blues, someone else will contact me afresh and ask if I was still interested in working with Turing, then start the whole process again from a different angle entirely. This went on for about a year. I will give it a trial again and believe that things will have improved.
