Sit with a recruiter, take the ASVB, go to MEPS pick your career, from there you will go to BCT. Upon finishing BCT you will go to your MOS School then to your first unit.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at US Army (Dallas, TX) in Sep 2016
Interview
It contained a background check, police record, physical fitness test, body composition with height and weight, an aptitude test. Another physical exam in another city, and interview about that job to do and then I had to wait until a job opened up and then I had to travel to another a city to go to the job.
There was a lot of questions and meetings. They made you do a Fitness check to see if you are in shape or not.Have to take a long test that tells you what jobs you qualify for.
