MEPS was not too bad but there is no real interview process when I came in. Basic training was a bit rough and not something I would want to willingly do again but it was an experience I will not forget.
I applied online. I interviewed at US Army (Phoneton, OH) in Jan 2018
Interview
This was a series of interviews from three individuals. The individuals were as follows: 1) the Human Resource Director 2) the Deputy Dept Director and 3) the Dept Director. The most difficult interview was the second.
They had come to the our university to hire fresh college grads. The initial phone call was with one person. Since it was during the pandemic, the second round of the interview was a virtual interview with a panel of 3 people. They just asked basic questions. No technical questions. The interview was for about 30 to 35 mins. Overall, it was a good experience.
