I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at US Army (Louisville, KY)
Interview
Structured. There is a specific manner in which you will be tested, both mentally and physically in order to enter the service. If you pass all of the tests, you will be offered a number of different job opportunities to choose from.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at US Army (Seattle, WA) in Nov 2011
Interview
No interview. Go to a recruiter with no felony's and good enough ASVAB score. Find a job that will have outside-the-military skills. Infantry has very little outside job opportunities. Additionally, ask a recuiter for in/out calls and promotion points for the last 18 months.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at US Army (Manati, PR) in Jun 2011
Interview
In processing at local MEPS. Based on a series on physical exams etc... ASVAB test must be taken. Very friendly staff. Recruiters are very interactive with you and your family. Everything is very well explained and detailed out on how the process will be. Physical test training is available and very helpful if you are out of shape. Lots of 1:1 pep talks. Very informational and educational as well. There isn't much to say. You go see for yourself. Not everyone can join the world's best ARMY. Seek your local recruiting station and ask to speak with a recruiter for further questions. If you have any doubts you can always go to goarmy.com Hope this helps!
