Been reached out by one of their talent recruiter. Did first interview with HR then a second with the hiring manager and then no news/no update. I get that my profile wasn’t selected but what’s wrong with not giving a reply? I was really surprised as it’s the first time that I’m getting no update at all from a tech company and so, even after following up (literally ghosted). Beyond my little ego, I ve found it offbeat in comparison to the VMWare overall reputation. I would suggest to have a bit more consideration for your candidates.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at VMware (Atlanta, GA) in Jul 2014
Interview
Met with several managers from different verticals, but all in the mid market space, who asked generic sales questions and questions about your background and experiences. Basically just combed over the resume and asked for examples of success
