My hiring process had close to 10 rounds of interview including the collabedit, face to face and telephonic conversations. The colledit rounds are direct. You get a question and you answer it. Mostly code based questions, Your answers are either entirely correct or entirely wrong. You wont get questions which would be may be types. For me the telephonic round were the worst as I am not that much of a speaker over the phone but i managed it with to the point answers. You dont want to let the interveiwers mind wander with your long essay type answers over the phone. Same applies in face to face questions. Be prepared to write a lot as your answers will be maintained as reviews given to the recruiter or hiring panel. Indentation, comments, handwriting(?) can go a long way.
