VMware Software Engineer interview questions

Initial online assessment, followed by a technical interview where the interviewer coded while sharing their screen, and I told him what to do while doing "testing-based" coding, which involved writing out the tests that we expected our application to pass, then writing the code that was needed to make it pass.

The recruiter was slow and unresponsive. During one of the technical rounds with an engineer, the question was underspecified and the engineer did not provide good clarification. The interviewer could not figure out the platform for the coding interview. It was all a mess.
