First received a call from a recruiter, in Poland, who asked some clarifying questions. Then received an interview invite on Teams with the manager and a PM.
The manager seemed quite rude during the interview, instantly saying how there is a large candidate pool she already has interviewed, as the first thing, without even saying anything else. She spent a good few sentences mentioning it, even highlighting that a "Few lucky ones" will move forward.
That seemed very rude, dismissive and intimidating, as well as not aligned with the company values. It was hard to move on during an interview, after such a comment and keep a positive mind, to present myself.
After this, I decided to leave the interview process as it showed to be a big red flag. Important to mention, that I don't come from Denmark, which maybe nudged her to have such behaviour. I really don't think all candidates were treated this way, if they were, then I really wonder who would put up with such treatment and what does it say about the real company culture?
