The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Walgreens in May 2007
Interview
From what I remember the year I applied for the internship there was like 50 applicants for 6 spots and the reason that is relavant is because the year before they had more spots than applicants. Basically you can easily land any job while going to college, just use the career canter. Obviously dress in a suit and make sure to keep that smile on your face through that whole thing because thats one huge thing they look at.

I applied in-person. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Walgreens (Teaneck, NJ) in Jan 2007
Interview
I worked at another walgreens store as pharmacy technician. I moved called up stores in the area and one was hiring a pharmacy cashier it was the same pay so I accepted the position. After two weeks the manager fired the person who was in that position before me because I took his place. I thought it was kind of messed up cause he needed the job more than me I was just a college student. But I was a much better cashier than him.

applied online, went to a nearby walgreens to finish up the second part of the interview, which was the assessment test. Consisted of general knowledge of conversions, reading rx, and identifying the generic names of different drugs. Got a call from the district manager a week later and came into a one on one interview. Asked general questions and I had to do another test with conversions, pharmaceutical terms, and naming the generic brands.
