I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wood Mackenzie
Interview
Online numerical test followed by an assessment centre with four interviews - a competency interview with HR, business interview with consultants, a case study and presentation, and a group case study with the other interviewees.
The HR interview was fairly standard - tell me about a time when you had to persuade a group etc. The business interview was really a chat to assess your understanding of the industries wood mac focusses on and current market trends.
The case study was long - 1.5 hours preparation, followed by a 15 minute presentation and interview - I have interviewed at top tier management consultancies that don't do this.
The group interview was a very simple case study.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Wood Mackenzie in May 2016
Interview
I was based abroad and did two phone interviews (30mins each). The first was with the manager/supervisor and the second was with HR. The first interview was more technical - asking about your industry knowledge, skills, etc while the second interview was a strengths assessment and walk me through your resume.
I was informed that Wood Mackenzie has a robust selection process - after 2 rounds of phone interviews, it will be a video interview.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Wood Mackenzie (Peking, Peking) in May 2016
Interview
I arrived on time and waited in a meeting room for a while, then I had an interview with two members from the team and then with the hr, each session lasting about 30 minutes. Questions are basically about your resume. The process is comfortable and did not make you feel nervous as other interviews do.
