All non technical interviews are done in a methodical way and they follow a good process. One of the technical interviewer was really rude. She was rather trying to showcase what she knows than to understand what candidate knows to what extent. All other interviewers are very cordial. I thought I got the offer but I didn't. Even if I got an offer I would have thought twice given that rude experience I encountered.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zalando (Hamburg) in Aug 2019
Interview
The process started with a screening call and followed a short conversation with Head of Engineering. I had roughly 10 minutes chat with the hiring manager. Right after I said that I'm working at consulting company, the hiring manager interrupted me and said that there is another meeting piled up and disconnected. In a week I got a rejection letter and "feedback" session with HR, where no feedback was given, HR did know nothing about the reason.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Zalando (New York, NY) in Mar 2018
Interview
First interview went ok, but on technical interview felt a bit of arrogance by the interviewers and lack of focus on what the role should be about. Sad to have such experience because first interviews were with cool people.
