Overall a very poor recruiting experience. Both rounds of interviews were scheduled with one day's notice after several ignored emails by the recruiting team to schedule with as much notice as possible. After my second round of interviews (which were productive and fair) I was told I would hear back within 3-4 working days. Instead, I never heard from anyone at Zalando again, despite 3 emails sent to two different people within recruiting to check on the hiring outcome. One of Zalando's company goals is to become a "hiring magnet" in Europe. Is providing a poor recruiting experience a smart strategy to attract Europe's best and brightest? I would argue it is not.
3 Online interviews with recruiter, hiring manager and VP. Process quite smooth a bit improvable but responsive people throughout the process. Questions were a bit different than usual. Somewhat scripted.
Overall it was quite fast and very professional
The position was too narrow in terms of skills and I felt like they didn’t very much consider the background but actual hard skills
Lengthy process with multiple rounds for different positions . The interviews were relatively easy and geared towards team fit and culture . 3 rounds of interview per role or position
