I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Zalando (Berlin) in Jan 2018
Interview
I received the first contact by email from the coordinator. The first round was an interview by Skype was amazing. The guy based in Ireland explained everything really good and make you feel comfortable enough to express yourself. Feedback was positive for both of us and I moved forward to the HQ in Berlin order to have 4 interviews the same day. Zalando provided me support with the travel which was really great ;)
My interviews at Berlin were not that amazing. The 3 first interviewers were really nice and friendly and despite you could have the feeling that you could do a better interview you noticed how professionals they are. Unfortunately, the 4th interview was a disaster total due to many reasons not only due to the lack of respect form the interviewer but due to the lack of energy (3hours sitting a room answering direct questions and not always in a friendly environment) and seeing how the interviewer was judging you. It is not how I understand a interview should be.
I really enjoyed the company and of course, I would recommend more people to work there as I truly believe is a TOP company and a nice environment to work. But I have doubts, based on my experience, If the process followed shows the right information you´re looking for!

Interview
Quick, efficient, onsite was a bit mixed as I felt that some interviewers were more pleasant than others.
Scheduling and coordination was seamless as was offer process. Post-offer was a pain, but manageable because I lived in Berlin already.
