I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Kopenhagen, Region Hovedstaden) in Mar 2022
Interview
LEGO interviews are very warm and welcoming, with good questions that focus on the human side of programming. There is an incredible calm to the process that I've not seen elsewhere.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Genuinely asking into my match with the role and how I see myself and it evolving. Basically "where are you in 5 years" but asked with interest and attention to deepen our mutual understanding of my fit.

Three rounds below:
Recruiter round - talk with a recruiter to determine high-level fit, based on further information about the company and the posting, plus some elaboration on your own background.
Hiring manager + other stakeholders - a bit longer and more detailed talk with a group closer to the work, including the hiring manager, again gauging fit at a somewhat high-level.
Case - prepare a solution, over the course of a few days, satisfying certain requirements related to the actual job responsibilities.

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at the LEGO Group (Billund) in Dec 2024
Interview
Interview process was a great experience and the process, next steps were well updated by HR and the hiring manager. The case study round is something very interesting, which also gives the candidates a understanding of what the role expects from you.
