How would you go about starting a design project?
What would I change about the current experience of the site
Take home design test, 72 hour due date from receipt. Max of 4 hours requested to spend on it. Unpaid, real work for the website.
Questions were around my current and past experiences, focusing on skills and on understanding my past behaviours. Questions were quite average and tone conversational and friendly.
What have you found most different and most rewarding about management?
All questions began with 'Tell me about a time when...' most were around handling conflict, to the point where I began to feel the entire role was conflict management. Many people asked the exact same questions.
Where is your salary coming from?
No design related questions, they focus on coding process. It is very strange.
