Pros

To gain entry into ADP corporate. If you can stick it out at TS for the required time and then transfer to another division, that would be the best reason to work for TotalSource.

Cons

TotalSource is widely know as the "black-sheep" of ADP. Very little support from ADP corporate. Upper management at TS is known for being particularly unqualified for the jobs in which they are placed.

Pros

Automatic Data Processing is an extremely stable company which is important during this economic time. Being a Triple - A credit rated company has helped retain customers and bring new clients on board. The company is known for promoting within the company and there is opportunity for upward mobility. The company offers an exceptional benefit package including health, dental, vision, 401k and a pension plan. ADP is the industry leader and is known world-wide which makes selling our product a bit easier. The office environment is friendly and supportive. I have never had an issue requesting PTO which is important to maintaining a work/life balance.

Cons

ADP has been rumored to have a "burn and turn" attitude towards Sales Associates and it does seem to be proven true. The commission structure was revamped a little over a year ago and has been a disservice to the Sales Associate. It almost feels as if you are punished for succeeding. After meeting quota you are put on a substantially higher plan and then the commission structure is adjusted making it harder to really up your overall salary. Even the top performers barely make over $100k which is low compared to sales in other industries. Management can tend to micromanage making the job frustrating.
