Pros

Aldi does have really good pay, as well as benefit options to choose from as a Full-Time employee. Maternity/Paternity leave, PTO as well as Sick Time is available for Full-Time employees. Promotion possibilities are available for all employees. Flexible scheduling for Part-Time employees as long as you show up consistently.

Cons

Demanding labor; physically and emotionally. The job itself is a work out, especially if you’re an opener. You will be expected to handle multiple pallets on your own, as well as manage customers once the doors open. Usually for night closers, you’ll be running with a staff of 2-4. Unless you’re hired with a very specific schedule planned out, flexibility is less common for Full-Time employees.

I loved working at Aldi. Really nice atmosphere, people, and customers.

Cons

I don't have any cons. Personally, I enjoyed working at Aldi. However, there is a lot of heavy lifting and hard work that goes into working there. Don't work here if you don't want to work hard.

A smaller store means more rapport and relationships with customers. Good variety of job duties, you're not doing the same thing all day. Good pay. Good training for body mechanics. Store hours.

Cons

No employee discount. I wish I had the option to stand or sit, not just sit while cashiering.
