There is a real issue, within the head office which I work at, with bullying. Time and time again people are forced to leave over the effects of bullying and the lack of action from Management. Several people are just paid off rather then the issue being dealt with. The issue is very serious as recently one member of staff even attempted suicide over the bullying they were subjected to. The office in which I work at there is only one male member of administration in the entire office. This unusually low level of male colleagues is a breeding ground for bullying and catty behavior. Management deny the issue of bullying and simply state that it cannot be proved therefore there is nothing they can do. This leaves the victims with no choice but to leave.

Aldi does not promote growth within. In the interview process they ask you if you are not okay with moving up, if you respond no then you're out. They do not really care about their employees. You can only move horizontally within the company. Turnover rate was very poor.
