Good company but needs improvements

Pros

High-tech semiconductor company. Getting bigger.

Cons

Limited growth perspective. Dutch people get faster promotion and higher position. Company getting bigger every year but not getting better for employees. Cafeteria food is not good. Parking is too small. Good people left because managers didn't care about their experience, skills. Some managers should never became managers, leaders and should stay working as engineer. 30% of flex employees means that sometimes they give better jobs to them because they cost less and easier to lay off.

Pros

You will be working on amazing technologies, with very knowledgeable colleagues, in an overall quiet and friendly atmosphere. I have to mention a rare thing in the industry: IT support is excellent, it allows you to focus on your day to day tasks.

Cons

Wilton seems unfortunately not to be 100% part of ASML. Most of the nice events, improvements, initiatives happen at other ASML sites. Wilton is just all about engineering and making modules for the rest of the group and that's it. Also, you chances of promotions are much higher is you end up on a project that is not canceled after a year by top management, and if you have a tendancy of complaining regularly to lower management.
