      Pros

      As the dominant player in lithography equipment market. The job opportunity in ASML is stable. It will get less impact from down turns.

      Cons

      This is an European company, so fewer bonus and useless employee stock purchasing plan. It is hard to advance on the career ladder too.

      This company employs highly qualified engineers and pursue the Cutting Edge Technology in their field. Very professional and at the top of the game.

      Cons

      This is a very competitive business which has to endure periodic downturns which result in cyclic employment for most of the staff.

      Pros

      Frequent overseas travel opportunities, rental cars provided for when overseas, able to use the opportunities overseas to travel in different continents, good hotel rooms and apartments for employees when working or training overseas. Comfortable office environment. Free computer laptops, car allawances, generous monetary compensation for overtime work and on-call allowanced. Generous travel allowances and mobile phone allowances. ASML is market leader for lithography machines.

      Cons

      Salary increments of 3-4% do not keep up with inflation of 5-7%. Sometimes, irregular and long hours involved.
