Good working space. Very flexible, good salary and friendly people. If you have a good manager with "leader"mentality then you workexperience is great , very pleasent and motivated to do your job .

Cons

Severe case of BPM (Bad People Management) To many layers of managers to get a problem solve --> project leader--> Main delivery owner (MDO)--> groupleader and at last department managers Role clarity is a BIG issue--> Department manager most of the time does not have a clue what ME'rs or engineer are doing, and there are many times conflicting decision making between groupleaders or MDO.

Pros

Exciting new technologies. Learning cutting edge technologies made the job very challenging. Training opportunities were available. Access to knowledge databases were also available in order to understand the new technologies. Benefits included medical and dental insurance with various coverage. Annual profit sharing was a plus. Long and short term disability insurance were also available in the benefits plan.

Cons

Office politics with management was chaotic. Unrealistic goals for achievement made it difficult to accomplish. Favoritism played a large role with management causing an unfavorable work environment. Personnel hired as managers lacked defining leadership qualities. ASML is a good company but the ASML office in Hillsboro Oregon lost sight creating a coordinate direction.

High tech company. That is.

Cons

React slow to market and tend to lose talented people to competitor. Quite stingy to employee, despite earning billions of dollars. No career advancement. In order to get promoted, the faster way is to quit the company and rejoin at higher position and salary. Only those "not so clever" will stay loyal to the company.
