No real investment on people’s growth on soft skills and leadership, it is mainly hard skills oriented which is already the best strength of the majority of the employees.

The local fab team always needs to pick up the slack for the upgrades team and install team. In addition, the part ordering process is a problem. Management has been doing a good job realizing these issues though. The approach to improvement seems to be very customer driven, make smaller transistors, which is why ASML commands majority of the lithography market. Unfortunately, the same software problems go unnoticed model to model and energy efficiency: energy input to energy output is ignored.
