      Not a good place if you want to work on software development

      Pros

      Great company brand, world leading HW design, very low SW technical challenge and just fine work-life balance

      Cons

      Too much politics everywhere within SW org and not much collaboration cross the relative teams, also lack of motivation and no incentive for the SW innovation and just maintain decades old software code bases and infrastructures to keep the machine running just fine, trend to contract out most if not all of software work

Many may classify ASML a hardware company, but we actually have one of the world’s largest and most pioneering software communities.
