Accenture Technology Solutions (ATS): Good employer for non-experienced graduates, bad - for professionals (specialists)
Pros
Good working climate, corporate culture Good, motivated and friendly people Open way of the communication within the company Clear shaping of the career path Good as a first employer for graduates (IT) who want to learn a lot and get first hands-on experience
Cons
Unsatisfactory compensation and not really useful benefits Very long (>10 years) career path until Manager Promotion to next career level is connected with unsatisfactory salary increase Those who go "extra mile" and bring High Performance are honored good only on the paper, monetary it means nothing. The yearly measure of the performance (ranking) is not clear and transparent, thus, very often dispappointing Due to permanent change of projects (=professional/development areas) is very hard to grow up as a real Professional in the one particular area. Accenture people are more Generalists, than Specialists. It exists a big risk that you enter a company as a specialist, but leave as a Generalist. Exist a tendence to outsource more and more work to low-wage countries in Asia. Remaining onshore (local) work relies often to (not really attractive and challenging for IT-profis) controlling/management/presentation tasks. Travel and "hotel life" time varies from 0% to 90% and depends very strong on the project/client.
