Pros
Internationally renowned company; potential to work on high profile projects. The other consultants I worked with came from a variety of different backgrounds. This was both a positive and negative. It was positive in that the diversity led to well-rounded project teams; however, it was frustrating to work on teams with people who had very little background or substantive knowledge of the assigned industry. I would say that Accenture is a good starting off point if you are interested in the world of consulting and/or business. The people I encountered were generally hard-working, intelligent and responsible. On the whole, I did not find the work to be particularly challenging or intellectually stimulating.
Cons
My entry level position consisted of a lot of coding and data analysis - not much client interaction.
