      Wouldn't recommend Allianz for employment

      Pros

      It was close to home and had flexible start times. Nice facility with several stores on campus and two cafeterias. Nice gym also, but I didn't pay to use it.

      Cons

      In the sales organization the culture is terrible. Huge, unwarranted, egos, blatant favoritism, limited opportunities for minorities or any kind. This is 1950's management style. Intimidation, retaliation, etc. The pay structure is changing constantly. If you don't play politics, they will manage you out the door with their ever changing metrics. Very little to respect here. Management is all out for themselves.

      Pros

      Nice work/life balance, 401K is a great match, ESPP (but costing more each year). Self managed. Open to ideas. Worked with smart people.

      Cons

      Communication could have been better. One side of the building was definitely treated better than the other side. Thats' it.

      Pros

      Salary pays my bills - great hours and great work/life balance and a few nice people to work with.

      Cons

      Very little support from upper management - They do not think outside the box, there is favouritism towards the staff - Too much politics, poor training and lack of communication. They make you feel you do not have the skills & knowledge to work there and in that they think it incentives people to get out of the bed in the morning. The company is cheap. They don't want to pay for the quality employees bring to the table. They want to give you as little as possible and make you beg to be paid what they should be paying you.
