Pros

- Market leader and very profitable company - Interesting industry (airlines & travel) - Nice location, in the forest of the South of France - Job for life - Many colleagues as friends

Cons

- Traffic in Sophia - Huge pressure to deliver, no plan, prioritization, or clear direction from management on what really is the priority - Priorities change on a daily basis - Nothing ever gets achieved unless escalated - Huge infighting between departments - SLOW and EXPENSIVE to deliver any new features to a customer - Bureaucratic - HR weak, no clear policies or tools for managers to work with their staff - Arrogant development, who deliver over priced poor quality code - The complete time wasting, and pointless budget process - Bonus system is pointless (difference between poor performer and top performer 4% in bonus)

Pros

Job safety, location (at least for the first years), flexible hours

Cons

If you haven't got a degree from one of those French "grandes ecoles" or you are not hand and glove with your manager you ain't go far no matter how hard you work. Very few exceptions. No help whatsoever from HR.
