Nice weather all year long Good salary Great balance work/life If you like the functional part of the airline industry, it is the right place for you

Cons

Few chances of career (if you are a dev, you need to stop coding and learn functional stuff) You will not improve your coding skills, old technologies, internal tools, ugly code If you like coding, you want to leave within 2 years before you forget how to code. You don't really make a lot of new code, you will fix the numerous bugs, respond to complaining customers, and do maintenance of the code most of the time You will not work with a lot of smart people

+ Working with smart and nice people on serious large scale software engineering projects + Fast paced + People are talented and that makes you grow + Multi cultural - in my team of 12 people, there are 8 nationalities + The system is useful to millions of travelers every day + If you stand out, you will be given responsibility + Climate is nice, sunny all year long - winter is mild + Location: close to the beach and within 1 hour and a half of the first ski resorts in the French Alps

- Pressure can be high sometimes due to the system being massively used worldwide and critical - The learning curve can be steep
