Pros

Pay, benefits, AWS on your resume, tech job that gives you access to a little bit of a lot of things datacenter related, growth means a bunch of people get promoted so you might eventually.

Cons

Favoritism in promoting, the datacenter is probably where you'd put a prisoner if you wanted them to break without any hands-on torture, the day-to-day has been tuned to the point of abuse (just work faster, perpetually expanding responsibilities without any recognition/compensation), 90% of the job is swapping parts like a monkey, so it's super lame. Everyone who works there wants to escape but has yet to find something better.
