Pros

Lot's of unpaid time off, which I have seen associates utilize in emergencies. Unpaid leave for emergencies / health is coordinated smoothly. College benefits for hourly employees pursuing a BA. Again, a very smooth process. They pay upfront. Room for growth. Amazon believes that you take initiative to develop yourself. Our team provides opportunities to those who show effort.

Cons

So much bureaucracy in how teams are able to set job titles and pay. You can develop and make iterative changes to processes which make the team millions in entitlement. You can support the entitlement reporting. You can serve as a team leader, POC for processes, and troubleshoot and resolve incidents blocking the ability to run processes. You will be pain less than $20 an hour to do so and your job title will not properly align with all the work you support.
