Can’t beat the benefits, but other than that, your are just a number!
Pros
The benefits are go better than most. Medical Insurance is great. It doesn’t cost a lot and covers a lot. Offers 401k with company match. I like the 10 hour shifts and working 4 days, and 3 days off a week. There are opportunities to move around in the company with various roles, you just have to be eager to learn and take the initiative. Overtime opportunities in the busy seasons.
Cons
The amount of work you do doesn’t match the pay as a problem solver. Work is non-stops it’s not a super hard job, you do need to be competent and it’s one of the better jobs at a fulfillment center but the work load is overwhelming on most days. If you are the type of person that likes to see the production of your hard work and what you’ve accomplished for that day, you won’t get that satisfaction at this job role. The work load Ia overwhelming and non-stop. It is more of a it’s not what you know, but who you know culture, unfortunately. You give more, they will always want more every time. Big turn over rate for employees and management. I think a lot of times people feel under valued and over worked. There are busy seasons when you will be overworked especially when you will be putting in more 60 hours a week, with mandatory over time for like 3 months. Some burnout will be experienced. Stress is up and down, when trying to meet numbers and with high productivity expectations. Sometimes you feel undervalued and just a number. Not a lot of recognition and the more and better you do, you will be rewarded with more work and labor sharing. They are a few employee that will ruin it for everyone else with being lazy and not doing what they are suppose to.
