Pros

Incredible team and manager Learned a ton in only 4 months People were very supportive and very smart Amazon has a ton of processes that make it easy to move into new teams or roles as they should all operate with the same docs and outlines - liked this way of working and made a very large company feel manageable Comp and benefits are great

Cons

Work life balance isn't great When anyone asks anyone at the company how they are or how they like their job, the most common response I heard was "It keeps me busy" "I always have something to do" "It definitely takes a lot of my time" so it seems like this is a common theme throughout all teams My role was created because of a need due to increased scope but after only 4 months in the role and working 12-16 hour days for the month prior to being laid off, they determined that priorities had shifted and the role was no longer needed even though the scope had not decreased
