Pros

- fully customer focused - like a candy store for technical people (and you have a flat-rate) - you own your career, the company is willing to support - ask, try things out, fail (fast / often) and learn - people are open to connect, to collaborate, to share stories, experiences - the onboarding is very structured and focused to give you the time and all materials needed to be prepared - people and culture are unique - extremely fast paced environment (I like it)

Cons

nothing so far to tell (will update if something has to be mentioned)

Pros

- Amazon is a company while being huge still makes you feel like you are connected. - Employee relations are great. Any problem weather it's personal of professional someone is there for you. - Managers are great. They own you for you work and your personality and back you up in almost all situations. - Diversity is respected and promoted regularly. You feel that there's zero tolerance for any kind of discrimination in any shape or form.

Cons

- Being a huge company has its natural downsides too. You may in the beginning feel lost in countless processes, tools and link. This stops being an issue after you get used to it but in the beginning it's a source of stress. - Scopes, targets and way of doing things change constantly and you have to adjust to it. This may be hard for people who prefer a more constant way of working where status quo never change.

Pros

strong company culture and values (not just writing on the wall), openness to change and new ideas, many learning opportunities, great colleagues (bright and nice), unique and effective meeting culture, competitive pay, flexibility (in many areas, but not all), always innovating and changing (opportunity to be involved in shaping workflows and processes)

Cons

very rigid reporting structure that produces disproportionate effort in some cases, certainly no 9to5 job culture (but flexibility to manage workload/-times and private life), constant change means structures are often missing or in development (negative if you're the type of person who needs stability)
