Pros

the salary is very high

Cons

- Working in shifts! If you want to have a life outside of Amazon, you won't! Working in shift kills all social connections and doesn’t allow you to build new ones. -Working with warehouse associates all day – to be a warehouse associate you don’t need any education what so ever – many warehouse associates are single moms or refugees – so people who didn’t really have other options that to work as warehouse associate. This means you are constantly surrounded by their personal life issues and conflicts with others or theft or violation of any kind! You constantly have a fire trouble makers and have monitor there performance. You have to make sure they don’t go to break to early or don’t spend to much time not working. You basically have to babysit them all. Common after a PhD, MSc or MBA this is completely degrading. - Working in a warehouse all day long - its loud, bad light. You will basically have your desk next to working place of the warehouse associates. - Amazon always promises you what you will have to master “analytically challenging tasks”– Apart from plus and minus calculations you don’t need to be very analytical. - The work amount – they give you a lot of work, put a lot of pressure on you, but nothing is difficult. You don’t need a university degree for the task you have to complete. You just need to be fast at it.
