Pros

+ Pay + Tooling (Slack, IDEs/Jetbrains, Macbook Pros, etc.)

Cons

- At least at PXT-CS (HR's science team), we have horrible middle-school level management that engages in many games - lying, telling different engineers different stories, constantly watching/poking engineers but not helping with blockers or tasking, no knowledge or desire to know each engineer's skills and interests to match tasks - just terrible. Plus waterfall. Waterfall at amazon. Without even true waterfall because they tried to skip requirements gathering. Just nuts. - Behind-industry-standard internal developer tooling and environments (brazil (internal build bs), sim (issue tracker), bindles (groups w/permissions), etc.) - High anxiety combative vs cooperative environment
