Lack of decision making and responsibility in most levels management from senior management to middle management level. No sense of meritocracy, no transparency in bonuses or promotions. London severely underpaid in comparison to other regions.

Pros

American Express is very employee friendly company. It is flexible in terms of working hours and work location. Also, the leaders are very open minded in terms of understanding your views.

Cons

At certain times you will feel your work gets stagnant. As its a big company the projects are long-term. However, you still have lots of opportunities to change your team after spending relevant time in your initial position.
