      Was a great company with a +ve culture

      very political in Services, lots of rah rah around team but in reality its sugar coating. border line bullying culture with a couple of key people holding all the reigns and its their way or the highway. career development is non existent now, was there 12 months ago..

      First off, AppDynamics is composed of some of the nicest, most talented folks I've ever worked with. Cisco benefits are great and the company mostly embraces a thoughtful strategy to how they treat employees. There is some kick-ass talent amongst the fold here, and I learned a lot.

      Cons

      Sadly, AppDyanmics has in many ways been in decline since the Cisco acquisition, with a tumultuous amount of attrition due to a careless approach to the company vision, Cisco integration, and the processes to support the necessary (fast) evolution to SaaS software. I witnessed countless well-intentioned projects sink or crumble under the weight of mismatched expectations, lack of support and/or project leaders leaving midway through execution. This was a serious problem at AppD that I hope they take equally seriously in their approach to fixing it.

      Horrible culture that’s treats people like scum. You’re not valued there at all, everyone micro manages you. Worst place I’ve ever worked in my life.
