Pros

Applied Materials is Top 1 semiconductor equipment company, and it provide a good environment, training, benefits to freshmen for their first job in careers.

Cons

Less and less people are working Semiconductor filed in Bay areas, or in US. once you choose jobs, positions in this field, you need to think about how long you can keep working in it, especially in the bay area. its salary offer is not bad, if compared to competitors in the field, but it can be much less if compared to high-end industries or IT companies in the bay area.

Pros

Work life balance is good ... Flexible timing

Cons

You shall not join this company if you are a software engineer. It one of the best for Mechanical or Electirca Engineer Even if you want to join, then opt for CSS department as chances for onsite in more in that department In PDC, product are already developed. You will be adding few lines of codes here and there which you also will not know what it is meant for as most of the stuffs are related to hardware Technology wise you will get exposure to learn only Core Java and that also they have their own internal framework Lots of politics are involved within the organization.
