Excellent compensation & benefits, challenging work environment. Management does a good job of avoiding layoffs during down time

Cons

Economic ups & downs of the silicon industry. Work environment can be very demanding. Lots of travel for customer facing positions.

+ Over 10,000 patents; industry leader. + brilliant colleagues; very global + strong innovation & customer-focused culture + great use of technology in all aspects of the company including the supporting functions + base and total comp are good + over the past 2 years there has been increased focus on leadership values and management development

Cons

- Demanding environment - must be prepared to work hard; long hours - shutdowns are used to meet financial targets and employees are not always given adequate notice
