The company culture has taken a drastic turn for the worse. What used to feel supportive and collaborative is now a toxic atmosphere where people are cautious about what they say and to whom. HR has become the most powerful entity in the organization. Instead of being a neutral partner or employee advocate, HR now operates as the ultimate authority, often shutting down concerns rather than addressing them. Management is disconnected from day-to-day realities. Decisions feel political, self-serving, and lacking in transparency. Employees often feel unseen and unheard. Morale is at an all-time low. Many good people have left, and those remaining are either looking elsewhere or staying out of necessity. Feedback loops are nonexistent. Raising issues feels unsafe, and the response is typically dismissive or defensive.
