      NICE summer job at assembly line

      Pros

      - good working atmosphere - nice coworkers - good pay - good leadership (I worked at the assembly line in the summer for a month; people work there in little teams of about 7 people including a teamleader) - no overtime - the areas of responsibilties for each sector/team are well structured; people can't shuffle off responsibility - you can keep your AUDI-overall and boots after you finished working there

      - I have the feeling, it's not easy to get a job there in general

      Pros

      Audi is very well recongnized, a successful company, leading car manufacturer with motivated people trying to maintain and improve audi's position in the market. There is a very strong company culture and employees fully identify themselves with this company.

      Cons

      Audi is located in Ingolstadt, a small town, where literally everyone seems to be working for this company. Furthermore, there is a very strict hierarchy, and it seems to be impossible to advance quickly. Even having been recommended by colleagues for a particular position, this person would need to attend an assessment centre and might not be considered as the right person for the job by HR.
