Didn't always seem like the direction the company was heading was agreed upon between management

The company hires way too many incompetent engineers who even can't do the basics. It's a company run by HR, lots of politics than actually doing the work. Siloed business driven by P&L, senior management talks one thing but do another. Good luck if you are a senior in the team because you need to clean up all the mess and babysit some underperformed team members who are spoiled bu HR policies.
